Vököng Translator is a browser extension that transforms webpage text into a Norse-inspired joke language. The extension operates locally inside your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.
Vököng Translator only processes text on webpages after the user explicitly activates the extension. When activated, the extension reads visible webpage text and replaces it with transformed text directly within the webpage.
All text processing happens locally in the browser. No webpage content, browsing history, entered text, or transformed text is sent to external servers or stored by the extension.
The extension requests access to all websites because it needs to interact with webpage content in order to transform text on any website the user chooses.
This access is only used after the user clicks the extension button to start the transformation. The extension does not automatically scan websites, collect browsing activity, or transmit webpage information.
The clipboard permission is used only when the user chooses to copy generated text from the extension. Clipboard contents are not stored, collected, or transmitted.
The scripting permission allows the extension to run its local transformation code on webpages selected by the user. These scripts only modify webpage text locally within the browser.
Vököng Translator does not use analytics, tracking services, advertising services, or external APIs.
The extension uses the Cinzel font provided through Google Fonts for visual styling. Loading this font may require a request to Google's font servers. No user-generated content or webpage data is sent through this request.
Vököng Translator does not store user data, browsing history, translated content, settings, or personal information.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the extension or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page.
